Self Help with Hypnosis

Hi There

Im going to start this blog with a few words about me, and who I am. I live in a small country called Denmark in Europe. I am very much interested in self development in all sorts. I've read tons of material about the subject, and I'm always looking for ways to improve my life. Since i started this self development journey about 8 months ago, Ive come across alot of methods and different aspects on how you can improve your life. Among the more known "guru's" i can mention Anthony Robbins and Eckhart Tolle. I've also watched The Secret. There are alot more worth mentioning, but I can go on for ages, so let's just stop here, because those are really not what this blog is about.

So here goes. About 2 months ago a friend of mine, who i met on a self development forum told me about these great hypnosis products he had bought. Personally I had always thought of hypnosis as a bit "out there". I was kind of scared of the idea of someone gaining control over my mind, I guess. That's how I had thought of hypnosis and as said, it scared me. Even if the purpose was to create positive changes. Also I had always been kind of skeptical about whether it worked or not.
But he was very positive about these products, and hearing a dear friend talking about them and how great they worked for him, made it a bit less scary to me.
Another reason that it could be interesting for me was, that although I had read tons of self development material I had still not managed to overcome my craving for tobacco. I had stopped smoking a lot of times, beacause I really wanted to, but although I had succeeded in stopping and not smoked for a period of time, I always found myself "sucked back" into this craving at some point. Therefore I really wanted to find something, that could change the way I thought of smoking, so that I wouldn't have to maintain my smoke free life only through willpower. I decided to give it a shot

So I went ahead and bought my first hypnosis audio, and went right at it. I listened to the file from start to finish. I was kind of eager to find out, what changes had happened, but I really didn't feel that different. I didn't think to myself "Wow I hate smoking now". But something had changed. If I had followed my usual smoking pattern at that time, I would have probably lit a cigarette shortly after listening to the file. But I didn't. Instead I went on for about 5 hours without smoking, and during this time I was wondering if the craving might come back. It didn't though, so I decided to simply take a cigarette and put it to my mouth. I guess I did it as some kind of test. It brought up a rather weird feeling. A feeling of indifference. I could take that cigarette or leave it. I didn't feel disgusted by the thought of smoking that cigarette, but I didn't feel any urge or craving towards it either. I simply didn't feel like it.

That feeling of indifference towards smoking remains to this day. It's very cool, because as I told you I have stopped smoking many times (and started again, as you can guess) but now it feels alot different than those times. I used to be very proud of my ability to stop smoking, because it required a lot of willpower, and when I was "sucked back in", it would feel like beeing defeated. Once I managed to stay away from the cigarettes in close to 6 six months, but I would still catch myself thinking "I could really use a cigarette right now" quite frequently.
I never get that thought now. When it comes to the subject of smoking, I still only feel that indifference. I don't feel like doing it. Ever

I wanted to share this story because of the great difference hypnosis has made in my life. I truly belief that anyone can benefit from hypnosis if they allow themselves to do so. It is the self development/help method that has created the most noticeable changes for me, in the shortest time compared to any other method I've ever tried.

You should check out this site: www.boostyourlifewithhypnosis.com
This is where I bought the Stop smoking-audio. They have a lot of hypnosis programs. Whatever you intend to achieve through hypnosis, they can probably help you. They also have good articles and information about hynosis and how it works

I've also used their selfconfidence product, that has created some very powerful changes in my way of thinking about myself. It's hard for me to remember, the last time I had a negative thought about myself, and when I do get them, they seem to disappear pretty quickly.

I'm definately going to try more hypnosis products. Maybe I should try some program about wealth building, because I have to wait for my next paycheck before, I buy my next program :-)

All the best
